another big thing in chinese fashion industry is concerning jerry fu’s battle with APAX. you can go to the source/link for more info, but in short- A few months ago APAX starved a bunch of models for an entire day and then demanded that they work over their contracted hours without pay. Jerry and a few other well known models spoke up (for themselves as well as for the other models) and got blacklisted.

fast forward to the present, the models that spoke up (including jerry) are now black listed at all the modeling gigs in China. Jerry was requested directly by Armani for the show on may 31st but when he went for rehearsals APAX got security guards and basically threw him out (even after Armani’s people came out to receive him).

TLDR: Jerry’s trying to get models to start some sort of a modeling alliance in China
